Hey hey! It's Kittyhawk here, celebrating that I've finally finished Paradise Slice 02: Rooster Rodeo Director's Uncut Comic! 🎉 Please go read it! 12 New Sexy Pages!

Thank you so much to @TomFulp and @PsychoGoldfish for the new Art Portal that allows me to have 32 pages of comic (and a bonus!), and especially the killer feature: Page Assigned Ratings. When I originally published Paradise Slice 02 last year, there was no way to designate comic pages as being M-rated or A-rated arbitrarily in a post. So, the post had to be either M or A. I ultimately went for the M-rating in the Games Portal, to the detriment of the story by removing the sex scene. I regretted it because I feel to truly understand Grey and Paradise's relationship it needs the sex scene. But now! I don't have to do that. Having optional adult pages is a killer feature. It's awesome!

For all you 17-year-olds and those adults who hate seeing sex between adults, this isn't to say that you can't get the gist without it, but sex is an important component to the story. After all, this series is about SEX, DRUGS, & ALIENS. I think I now have delivered on the promise, and I plan on continuing with the pounding. 😉

Hello, hello! It's Kittyhawk with My End of the Year Wrap-Up! As you see above, that's pretty much it for me this year with the end of the Sweet Sixteen Comic Contest. I will be reviewing all the Sweet Sixteen Comics that made it into the contest. I've already done the Top Ten, but the rest I'll be working on making coherent over Christmas Break. I might also post a few more pics to the Art Portal, but wow, the year is almost over!

Speaking of the Art Portal, I made OVER 100 Art Posts this year! That's almost 1/3 of the number of Art Posts I've made to Newgrounds. Thanks to my commissioners, I was able to fill a lot of it! You guys rule! Speaking of commissions, I finished the Succubus Series for KitsuneDragoon! Here is the final piece, Alyssa, Succubus of Lust:

I also was able to put some of my comics into the Art Portal thanks to @PsychoGoldfish's update! I really like the new setup, and I can't wait to see what new improvements and features are coming.

Now, I'm not gonna not talk about Bando's Comic Wizard, since it did get Frontpaged and won a P-Bot Pick. It was a fun project with @Dieswyx making a great track and @alsoknownas1 bringing the amazing programming skills! I'm sure it will find use for some comickers, as I'm seeing as I browse the Games Portal!

And I won a few P-Bots with Bando's Comic Wizard. That was awesome!

Let's start with Normal Girl! Normal Girl was debuted at Comicstreet 2023 and Sold Out! It was awesome to be back at a comics fair, and really fun with it being on a mall. If you're in Brisbane, or even Australia, please do check out Comicstreet! @Mamath does a great event! I really enjoyed working on this comic because of the responses I got to it. I also want to say thank you to Newgrounds for Frontpaging the Art Portal edition!

And of course, I have to talk about Paradise Slice. Do you have 10 billion hours? Of course you don't! So I'll just say that I freaking love working on this comic, and you should totally read it and the million mini comics that I made this year. Oh, there's more pages on the way, but they're for the Hornies. Thank you, new Art Portal update! 💖 I swear there's a fourth chapter coming in the New Year, and it will have some superhero action. Oh, but you think I was done with Paradise Slice... Oh ho ho ho, I am never done! I won some P-Bots with my "animation", "gifs" if you will. 😉 First up, I gots Paradise Takes a Bite:

And then we got the one that is the wind beneath my wings, something I've been thinking about since Grey and Paradise crossed my mind... Chillo Night. Once again, Dieswyx comes with the damned amazing track that set the pace of this animation that pushed me to new limits. I learned Blender. Dun dun dun! WE WON DAILY P-BOT PICK FOR THIS ONE!! AHHHHHHH!! Total dream come true 💖

Speaking of collabs, OMG, WE WON 5TH PLACE IN THE SPOOKTACULAR FOR GAMES!! Please go play our game, The Ghost of the Witch! It's a Ear-ie Audio Halloween Adventure. 😉 It was a lot of fun working on the intro, which we also released here on Newgrounds. I had to once again learn some more Blender, lol. Dieswyx did awesome with the track and sounds. @alsoknownas1 knocked it out of the park with the writing, the direction, and the whole game really! Thanks so much to @PaleFreak and @WolfGentleman44 for their amazing voice work!

I did some awesome audio collabs with Dieswyx this year too. I love working with him because it's so much fun. The music is chill and full of imagery for me. 💜 You should check them all out:

So! I’ve been on Newgrounds for 4 YEARS NOW and it’s been awesome! I love this community, and I’ve made a lot of cool stuff because of the energy here. Also! I’ve been an Aussie citizen for 4 YEARS NOW! Which is also awesome. So when you multiply 4 and 4 together and then add in a favorite art form of mine, you get:

PRIZES for the Best 16 Page Comics:

1st Place - $500 USD

2nd Place - $300 USD

3rd Place - $150 USD

4th Place - $50 USD

We will try to have it all judged and prizes given out before Christmas. We know how it be. Prizes will be paid through PayPal. And if anyone wants to throw in cash or other things as prizes, DM me.

We’re also teaming up with @Ugasisvelta to do podcast interviews with the winners! Thanks, Ugasi!

Here’s how it works:

• Make a 16 page comic, digital or traditional, color or b/w, that’s up to you!
• Then post them here to Newgrounds with the tag sweetsixteencomic. DO NOT SPLIT YOUR COMIC INTO MULTIPLE POSTS! We will not read comics that are split into multiple posts. That means you will have to put all 16 pages into a single Art Portal post. Artists can be involved in multiple projects, but each comic needs a single post.
• Make sure to have them posted on or before December 11th, 2023, at 11:59pm EST! No submission will be accepted afterwards. (I've posted some images that had EDT rather than EST, but I meant EST because I'm using Newgrounds Time, which is the Eastern Time Zone. I hate Daylight Savings...)
• Original stories will be judged higher over fan comics, though if you can make that awesome FNF or Space Dandy comic that blows us judges away, go for it!
• We’re accepting comics E through M. Keep It P-Bot Friendly! :D
• If your comic is part of a series you’re working on, keep in mind we will not be reading the rest of the series. Though this is a good excuse for starting your series!
• And if your comic is longer than 16 pages, we will only be reading the first 16 pages, so make ‘em a banger.

Some Clarification: 

• A cover only counts as a page if you need it. So if you have 15 pages of comic, the cover can be your sixteenth page, but it’s fine to have 16 pages of comic and a cover.
• Collabs are OK! Just designate a collab organizer for possible PayPal purposes.
