💪 We did a lot here at Montrose 💪

Wooooow! What a year, indeed! Let's go through some of what we did, Montrose and me. It's an adventure!

🤝 Collabs 🤝

For one thing, this was the year of Collabs! Here's the list:

@alsoknownas1 made this spiffy menu for the Off the Grid - Summer 2024 Collab, organized by @willtommoDDD, and I was one of the artists:

I did some art for the epic Dreamcast Collab, which was organized by @shleptboi, @NoMoreChie, and @RGPAnims, with a sweet menu by @Amni3D:

@alsoknownas1 went insane, as well as I, and we worked on Dreamcast Collab: Homebrew Edition. Yes! This actually works on a real Dreamcast. Or emulator, because the poor things are starting to break down. The music by @TeffyD is perfect.

Speaking of collabs, the collab I'm organizing, Pokemon Gijinka Collab, is being worked on as I write this. Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed, art and music, to the collab. We want this to be special, and I think you'll appreciate the time put into it when you finally see it.

📼 Movies and Motion Comic 📼

I pushed myself with animation this year! I won't include the spicy content (thanks to the commissioner for sponsoring it and to @Dieswyx for the music) in this post, but you can go look at that in my Movies page. 😁 Bouncing is something I worked on a lot! Poor Barra~

OF COURSE THERE'S SOME PARADISE SLICE CONTENT. Both of these short movies were created on a whim during some really rough patches of the year. Animation will distract you when life's bein' a bitch! I'm happy to say both won a P-Bot trophy. 💖

As for a motion comic, I did one for Halloween this year, a sequel of sorts to A Halloween Cat-tastrophe. Velvet and Minky are back with a new friend! Thanks so much to @alsoknownas1 for making the motion comic engine (ohhhh, could that be something that could be... BANDO'D?!!!! MAYBE EVEN, WIZARD'D?!!), @Dieswyx for the great soundtrack and translation, @Kazmerald for also translating, and to @rosarjc for being the editor. We got a Daily Feature and Frontpaged! A very Merry Halloween!

👻 Device 👻

Sticking with Halloween, we were inspired by RLM to make a ghost catching device. @alsoknownas1 wanted to make a quick Halloween treat after finishing the Dreamcast Collab Homebrew, and it's pretty nifty! Thanks to @Dieswyx for whipping up some perfect sounds quickly too. Thanks to Newgrounds for Frontpaging it!

I just counted it up, and I made 111 Art Posts this year. 😳 That constitutes 1/4 of all my art posts on Newgrounds, so I'll say it was productive year!

As part of my animation training, I did a couple of loops this year, both of them Paradise Slice of course. Er, one's a bit spicy, so again, not posting it here, but here's the cute one:

HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT OUR SHOCK PINK BUTT AND SAVIOR, PARADISE SLICE?! If you're around me a lot, you have! I'm sorry (not really). 😆 I'm working on the next chapter of Paradise Slice which is gonna be a motion comic. I swear it won't take place in the bar, lol. And by request, there's a bit of superheroing in there. 😄 This chapter actually started as a comic. I've decided going forward comics need to move, so we're pivoting! If you'd like to see the WIPs, I post some to Kittyhawk's Magical Montrose WIP Thread in the Forums which I started this year. I'm sorry it's A-Rated, but I didn't want to hold back.

I did re-release the second chapter as a comic in the Art Portal with extra pages. Please use Bando's Comic Enhancer so you can have Page Preloading, so you can smoothly read the comic. I know I've avoided posting spicy content in this news post, but since Newgrounds added the ability to assign ratings to individual pages, I feel it's safe. If you don't want to see A, turn it off! Simple as!

I made a Playlist for all the fanworks that we've received. We received so much this year! We really appreciate all it. Thank you! Saturday Night Streaming at Montrosechat reached its 5th Year Anniversary in October! Thank you so much to the commissioners who keep it going and to everyone who comes by to watch and even chat. Always a good time when you're there! 💖 

🤔 Next Year?! 🤔

Next year is already looking busy for us at Montrose. We're going hard into 2025 working on the Pokemon Gijinka Collab menu (lots of cool stuff happening on the terminal screen of @alsoknownas1's machine!), THE Peanut Oil Comic 3, another Velvet & Minky motion comic, Paradise Slice 04, and much, much more! Plans are being made and executed. Oh yeah, it's all coming together... Thanks so much to our partners who will be working with us! 💖
