the nudegrounds thread was promptly locked when it first started which already shows that this mod can't differentiate the topic of nudity with sexually explicit. i just want to see people sharing their love for A-rated works on the forum without being subjected to this kind of bias...

I want that too! I originally started my thread on NSFW because I saw a fellow artist wade into making it and being piled on for it. I wanted to see if there was a way that we could talk about making the site more accommodating to everyone, those who like NSFW and those who don't. I guess there's no peace with some. π

Turkey is in the wrong. The BBS is there for discussions, and if he doesnβt like that A rated thread talks about A rated subject matter, then maybe he should stop reading the threads and let a different mod follow those threads.
Let threads live and let the discussion go in the direction it naturally takes!
Mods are here to help, and you're supposed to be able to trust them to protect the community. I think when they actively fight against the user base, it does a disservice to everyone. I hope Turkey learns from the experience, because he's a skilled artist and has been part of the community for a long time. I respect his dedication and investment in keeping the BBS safe,
but this hurts all of us, including him.
You are so right! Mods should be there to help protect and facilitate conversation, not shape it. I guess the mod will stop reading my threads in theory now, but I doubt it. I appreciate you coming out in support of us. π
Yeah He has been one of those mods who can come around and be really tough and shit compared to some other mods who I have bonded with in the past. Sorry this has happened

I think I'm going to show my face in the forum space, because this is gross. Engaging with the social functions of a website isn't getting riled up by a mob or causing drama, it's using the space that has been provided. Or...not provided, as it seems with the moderator(s?). Also, politics is being mentioned, and I always enjoy dunking on people who don't understand EVERYTHING is political. :D
This is definitely politically motivated, but I hope for a world one day where we can ice over the politics and have a good time. Thanks for your support π

No mods are good, except Olskoo and SevenSeize, those are only well-deserved mods imo. TurkeyOnAStick deserves moderator privilege removed for what they did, they did not deserve to be modded, I don't care how good TOAS is.

Olskool is alright, and I'm sure SevenSeize is too even if I haven't had much interaction with them. The mods are pretty good in my experience. Except... This one... This mod's gone rogue.
