I like! Is there a limit to how many panels you can put on each page? Like, a proper graphic novel can fit a lot on 16 pages. Iβm not sure if I want to try something cute, simple and self contained, or start something more epic
No limit on the number of panels per page! Just remember to think about readability and you'll be gold. :D

1.Characters I plan to use in the comic I have in mind are anthro arthropods would that be against the rules???

Just to be super clear, I can make a cover, follow it with 16 pages of comic, and you guys'll just judge the 16 pages of comic, yeah? I won't accidentally get the cover and 15 out of 16 comic pages judged, right? Rules scare me

Quick Question: If make cover art for your comic, does it automatically count as a page?
A cover only counts as a page if you have 15 pages of comic. If you have 16 pages of comic, it won't count as a page. I hope this helps!

@KittyhawkMontrose Great! Another thing. it said no furry content. Now, I'm not a furry, but my comic's main cast consists of anthropomorphic animals. Will that be a problem?

@succojones is right! I'm not banning furries or funny animals from the contest, and I'm even allowing them in the Coffee Into Australia X community and the sweetsixteencomic IRC channel for the contest period. So go for it!
