But are "spread pages" counted as one page or two?
Some comics do this super extravagant whole page drawing to emphasize a scene, it takes up two whole pages when printed, like two pages next to each other form one big image
If the spread is obvious, yes, we will count that as two pages. I love a good spread, so go for it!

I forgot that Im making a digital comic as opposed to a printed one so I have more freedom and leeway with the layout of the comic

Yeah! Like if your pages are all portrait except for a landscape page that's obviously two portrait pages stuck together, I'll know that's a spread. And yup! You don't have to use the standard sizes. Digital is awesome! Just have to have sixteen pages. :D

Yes, traditional comics are allowed! You just have to post all 16 pages in one post in the Art Portal with the tag sweetsixteencomic, and you'll be good. :D

Hey! The size of the page can be as large as you want, and any genre will be fine! Webtoon is allowed, but it might be hard to convey pages with that format. You'll have to figure it out. I hope this helps!
